I’ll be at Fanime this weekend, table 37! I’m afraid I won’t have any new art, my hard drive just failed and I lost everything I was preparing… OTL
BUT I’ll hopefully have some new bow ties, and will be taking commissions all weekend! :D

A tiny how-to guide I had available for people who bought my bow ties at fanime. I figure I may as well post it here for free! It isn’t very well drawn, unfortunately, as by the time I got to drawing this my hand was actively seizing up and I had to take multiple hour long breaks, but it gets the point across. :)
Hahah, what a convention. :) First of all; Hello to all of the fanimecon people! Thank you for stopping by my table, chatting with me, or buying something. :D With your help, this was my best year in the artist’s alley yet! Meeting new people is one of my favourite things about cons, and I look forward to seeing you guys again in the future.
Now, to less interesting things. As I said, I sold better in the artist’s alley this year than I ever have before. But man, my sales were weird. I sold less than twenty prints over the course of the convention, and my usual best-sellers didn’t sell at all. Strange! The bow-ties were a great success, I sold out of Police Box, d20, and I <3 Yaoi. Only one steampunk damask sold, though, and none of the argyle or sushi bows sold so I /may/ retire those designs depending on how they sell in the future. Everything else sold between acceptable and well - I think I still need to figure out the ideal pricing on fridge magnets, as they sold really inconsistently. Oh well!
All in all, despite being stuck behind a table the entire time I had a great time at fanime. I might not post a ton in the upcoming month as it is going to be a very hectic one for me, but I’ll be working hard to have some new merchandise prepared in time for Anime Expo! I hope to see you guys there!
Got a picture of my bow tie display at fanime! From left to right, top to bottom: Spiderweb Argyle, Steampunk Damask, Police Box, D20, I
Not an amazing picture, but at least I have the excuse of being totally sun-blinded this time. Another sort of bow tie I’ll have on sale at fanime! A brown and cream damask with a bit of a steampunk feel. I’ll have five of these with me, I’m hoping I’ll sell them all. :)
Not exactly a stunning picture, but eh. One of the various bow-ties I will have on sale at Fanime! This has a purple, black, and white argyle pattern with a spiderweb motif. :D I’m considering doing another run of these in red for Anime Expo.
Keychains are assembled, prints are cut, seller’s permit has been obtained, cupcakes have been baked. (and don’t they just look delicious? I am sure you are now wishing you were going to fanime so you could have one.) I’m simultaneously feeling ahead of the game and as though I’m running behind. I still need to pack everything, which I’ll presumably do tonight and tomorrow morning. I intend to leave for San Jose tomorrow afternoon, so I suppose I’m cutting it a bit close. I’m also kind of sad, because tonight is the last night I get to watch people stream for five days.
Rather than be productive with my remaining time and do something sensible like begin packing, I think I’d like to draw something. Would anyone have a request, or maybe want to do an art trade?
I already posted the art for both of these so it’s kind of dumb to post this but oh my god these are tiny and adorable. Shrinky-dinks are magic. These things were like four inches tall when I printed them out and then they had a curly seizure in the oven and really freaked me out and now they’re somehow tiny and adorable.
I’m gonna have a few of them at fanime but I’m not really sure how much to sell them for. :|
